Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA Update Available For Galaxy S5, Note 4, Note Edge, Note 5

Samsung, the leading Android smartphone manufacturer, has rolled out the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade for its Galaxy S5, the flagship smartphone brand. The latest Android build is available for older Android devices Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge.

The update has been released for Android 6.0.1 Mashmallow in South Korea and then for the users in the U.S. The leading carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon wireless for Galaxy.

The recent Mashmallow update will be rolled out in United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Iraq and Netherland. The recent update has already been done in Croatia, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, and few other countries.

The Android 6.0.1 is not very much different from Android 6.0 Mashmallow; however, it has features Google Now on Tap, Doze mode and a huge variety of emojis. What is more interesting this time that Android 6.0.1 has come before Android 6.0. This new update will replace blue with white interface and display of several app icons.

The OTA update notification will be automatically available for Galaxy S5 phones. Users can manually check by Phone > System updates > Check for update.

For Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5 Sprint users can easily update Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Verizon wireless users. AT&T and T-Mobile are also in the process of rolling update.
