The UK HTC ONE device’s users are happy to receive the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware starting with this week.
The new firmware update is now available for download via OTA (Over-the-Air) starting with UK HTC One devices.
If you are living in UK and you have an HTC One device from a UK carrier then you can check your device’s notification screen area for the automatically notification.
Together with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware version you’ll also download and install the latest Sense 5.5 update.
The new update comes with OpenGL ES 3.0 support, better Video Highlights UI, BlinkFeed with Google+ and RSS feeds and more. In additional, the Google+ and RSS feeds feature is available to disable it completely.
The new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update available for HTC One device is named version 3.62.401.1 and it is the same firmware that was already pushed out for HTC One devices in other European countries.
The new firmware will be pushed out as a OTA notification by the HTC UK to your HTC One device , and you can search for a new update firmware by navigating to the Settings>More>About Device. From this path, you need to use the Software Update section to see if there is a new firmware version available.
Keep in mind that the new update is rolled out in phases and if there isn’t any firmware available yet you shouldn’t panic soon you’ll be notified by your device regarding with a new update available.
As you probably know that, only the HTC One devices which are have run a stock firmware will be available to receive this new firmware as an officially notification. If your HTC One device is currently running on a custom ROM or a custom kernel, or you made some major customization there, then the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA update will be available only if you’ll use a manually installation process.
