- Enable the USB debugging option on the S3 smartphone.

- Download from here the firmware file and save it on your PC.
- Extract the downloaded file on the desktop.
- Next, download and install Odin app on your PC.
- Now, launch Odin app.
- Power off the S3 device.
- Boot it into download mode by pressing on Volume Up, Power, and Home buttons together.
- Now, connect your Galaxy S3 device to the PC via USB cable.
- Look the Odin and make sure that the ID:COM section is yellow or blue and the “added” message need to be displayed. If not, reinstall the drivers on your PC once more, for that first close Odin and disconnect the USB cable – after that repeat the steps from above.
