Searching for a new Android update for your Galaxy Note 10.1 P605? Your wait ends here. A new official Firmware update is now available and it is introduced by OTA for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE 2014 edition. The new firmware is called Android 4.3 XXUAMJ2 update, and can be installed by using KIES application.  For those who didn’t receive the new Firmware as an automatic notification, then the latest Firmware can be installed using a manual method.

You can learn from our manual guide which is not only simple but is also easy to implement. The latest OTA update has been released in Czech Republic and can also be flashed in other markets using this guideline.

This guide can be used if the Note 10.1 is rooted. During the tutorial, we will use a flashing program called ODIN, which is a dedicated software developed by Samsung and used for these kinds of flashing operations. So, using ODIN application you have nothing to worry about this manual flashing.

This guide is compatible with both rooted and un-rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE devices. The latest Android 4.3 XXUAMJ2 is official Firmware released by Samsung for these devices.

If the tablet that you want to flash it with the latest Firmware is rooted, after applying this guide the root access will be revoked. The root access can be regained if you follow a suitable root solution for the Android 4.3 XXUAMJ2 OS.

Back-up all data stored into Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 device’ internal memory as a preventive measure. In some rare cases, while using a manual flashing method the data has been either deleted or corrupted.

So, back-up all your important data before moving to the next step. For doing that, you can use free available back-up and restore applications from Google Play Store for saving almost all data from device’ internal memory like: Contact list, call logs history, MMS and SMS, market applications, internal settings, the EFS folder and all you think is important for you.

Pre-requisites:

  • During the step by step guide, a Windows PC will be used to install ODIN app and to connect the Android device to it. Also, the device USB cable and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition will be used.
  • On the Windows PC, you need to uninstall or disable all the security applications. All these applications can interfere and interrupt the flashing operation.
  • On the tablet, go to the next path: “menu>settings>developer options” and enable the USB Debugging option.
  • The flashing process will take around 10 minutes, and during this period the device must be “alive”. Otherwise the device gets damaged.
  • Ensure that the device’ battery is having more than 70% power left.
  • The latest Android 4.3 XXUAMJ2 Firmware has been released by Samsung for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition LTE variant. Use this guide only for the above mentioned device only, otherwise be ready for the consequences.
