After a long wait, Sony is finally pushed out the new Android 4.4.4 update for Sony Xperia T3 device.
The new update is based on Android KitKat 4.4.4 update and carries a build number 18.1.A.2.25 for Sony Xperia T3 devices LTE models D5103 and D5106 and for HSPA+ model, D5102, Sony has pushed out the build 18.1.A.2.32.
The new update is expected to provide a better battery performance in some background applications, general improvements to MMS, Calendar Wi-Fi, Contacts, Email stability and performances enhancements. Moreover, the new update is expected to add latest bug fixes and security enhancements.
For those out of the loop, the Sony Xperia T3 is a mid-range devices with a 5.3-inch HD display, powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU, supported by a Qualcomm MSM8928-2 Snapdragon 400 for D5103/D5106 versions and Qualcomm MSM8228 for D5102 version. The device comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage extendable to 32 GB via micro SD, and 8 MP back camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus and LED flash. The smartphone also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and NFC which is a great addition for a device from its range.
The new Android 4.4.4 update is rolled out by Sony in phases so you shouldn’t worry in case the new improvements doesn’t arrive today. When your Sony Xperia T3 will receive the new Android 4.4.4, will appear an automatically update notification message on the device’s notification panel, you should simply confirm the download and installation process.
