The Nova Launcher team has released a new update to the most famous and used launcher for Android, the Nova Launcher Beta3.1 that will soon be available on Google Play Store. The update carries with it small but interesting and useful novelties, introduced in the form of search within the drawer applications, several new animations of the UI and better management of the layout of the apps list when the terminal is in the horizontal.
You can choose new transitions in access drawer (circle reveal, slide up, zoom, fade) from Nova Settings -> Drawer -> Transition Animation, then select the animation that you like. Circle reveal is the only one that is not compatible with all devices.
Even more interesting, however, is a search in the app drawer, which also shows the recently installed apps, and those recently updated, without the need to to enter a search query.
As the developer Kevin Barry noted on its Google+ account, there is still an issue to be fixed, the problem with the horizontal drawer, in which the icons appear just below the notification bar, but, on the other hand, is still in beta, so this is normal.
To become a beta tester of Nova Launcher join the Beta Nova Launcher community and adhere to it by going to Nova Launcher Settings -> Check for updates -> 3.menu > Beta and from there follow the directions to get into the beta, or you can just directly download the latest apk of Nova Launcher 3.1 beta2 from here.
