How to Root Galaxy S3 Mini I8190 – Guide

  1. First, download the rooting pack from here
  2. Download the Odin software from here.
  3. Install the Odin app on your PC.
  4. Now, extract the root file content on your PC desktop.
  5. Run the Odin software on your PC.
  6. Now, turn off your Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini device and enter the same in the Download Mode.
  7. To perform this, you need to press the Volume Down +Home and Power buttons simultaneous.
  8. Now, in Download Mode you need to connect the smartphone with the PC with the help of the original USB cord.
  9. When the smartphone is connected on the ODIN UI the ID:COM section must be yellow.
  10. “Added” message must be displayed; if these notifications aren’t displayed then you need reinstall the drivers for your Samsung Galaxy S3 device and after that, repeat the above steps.
  11. Select the “PDA” button from the ODIN window and take the root file which you extracted at the 4 step.
  12. Click on “start “button for starting the root process.
  13. Now, wait until the root operation is done, when on Odin app the “pass” notification is displayed.
  14. Disconnect the USB cable and then reboot your Samsung Galaxy S3 mini as you are finished.
