The permanent scanner for malware on Android by Google

Verify apps on Android

Everybody knows that are applications that can harm devices. Before being installed on the device, the apps, is required to be verified.
From the Android blog, we find out that Google has officially published the arrival of a malware scanner persistent within the Android OS.

Google verifies apps when they reach the Play Store, but it can happen when apps modify their permissions or contrarily do something they should not post-installation. There are plenty of apps that users can install on their Android devices that escape Google’s security scanning from the Google Play Store. Also, there are some Android users who have had apps installed on their devices before Google unveils its “Verify apps” security feature.
When you try to install an app from some source during the time that app verification is switched on, your device may communicate information classifying the app to Google.

The security of malware by Google is now improved. If the app is malicious, Google may suggest not to install it, or it may obstruct the installation. Google will also scan for apps that are already installed. For a dangerous app, you’ll be advised that you should uninstall it. If an app is identified to be unsafe, Google will eliminate it from your device.
The new feature is an update of the ” Check app,” which was introduced on Android 4.2 and improved in the future with the Google Play Service. With the new Check App, you can control the applications during installation if installed by an external service to Play Store and, in case the app does not respect the points of verification, you will be notified.

As specified, Google scans apps that install on your device if you accept that, otherwise Google does nothing.
For more information, you only have to read the post on the official blog.

The new feature began rolling out as a free Google Play update to users running Android 2.3 or more recent.
