- A Windows based PC will be used to install the ODIN app, an USB cord and the GS2 device.
- Uninstall or disable all the security programs such as Antivirus, Firewall and all antimalware tools.

How to Update Galaxy S2 I9100P to Official Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with new XXLSU Firmware
- First, Download the Official JB 4.1.2 (I9100PXXLSU) update file from here.
- Save the downloaded file on PC on its desktop folder
- Dearchivate (Unzip) the download I9100PXXLSU file.
- Download and install the suitable drivers for the S2 I9100P device, you can make this by downloading and installing the Samsung KIES tool.
- Now, Download ODIN app., save it in your PC and install the same on the computer.
- Run ODIN.
- Power off the Android device.

If the SGS2 device get stuck or will enter into a boot loop you have to do:
- Reboot the device into recovery mode.
- From the Recovery Mode main menu select “wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition”.
- Reboot the device.
