  1. Download the ODIN app from here, save it in your PC and extract its content.
  2. Download the update firmware file from here save it in your PC and extract the update file on your Desktop PC.
  3. Install and open the ODIN app on your computer.
  4. Now, turn off your Samsung Galaxy S duos device.
  5. Boot your S Duos device into the Download mode, to do that you need to press on the Volume UP, Menu and power buttons on the same time.
  6. Connect your device to PC using the USB cable
  7. When the connection is established, the ODIN app will notify you with the “added” message that will be displayed on the Odin interface, the ID:COM section should be colored on yellow or blue.

Note: If the ODIN app gets stuck or frozen, you need to:

  • Close the ODIN app.
  • Disconnect your device from the PC by removing the USB cable.
  • Restart your device and reinstall the drivers once again in your PC,
  • Repeat the guide from the beginning.

 Note: If your device gets a Boot Loop, you need to do the following:

  • Reboot your S Duos device into the Recovery Mode.
  • Perform a “wipe data factory reset” and after that “wipe cache partition”.
  • Now back to the main Recovery Mode menu with the “+++go back+++” option and from the main menu choose “reboot system now”.
