Micromax’s new affordable Android 4.4.2 KitKat smartphone, the Bolt A065, although was not yet officially announced by the company is now available for purchase online through eBay priced at Rs. 4,699 and Saholic at Rs. 3,799 in white color.
The Micromax Bolt A065 is a dual-SIM handset with dual standby, 4″ qHD TFT LCD display with 480×800 pixels resolution, powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor associated with 512MB of RAM.
The device comes equipped with a 2MP fixed focus rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calls on the go and includes 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. The device is animated by a 2000mAh battery which can deliver up to 6,5 hours of talk time and up to 375 hours of standby time.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack options. According to online retailers, the Micromax Bolt A065 is not offering 3G support.
The Micromax Bolt A065 will compete with other budget KitKat smartphones on the Indian market priced below Rs. 4,000, such as the Celkon Campus Mini A350, Karbonn A5 Turbo, Celkon Campus A35K, Karbonn A1+ Super, Lava Iris 310, Spice Smart Flo Mi-359 or Sunstrike Rage Swift.
