Early today, one of the newest Android devices named Samsung Galaxy S5 (European G900F model) has received a small KitKat OTA Update. The new update is called XXU1ANE2 firmware build and it is pushed out for all Samsung Galaxy S5 devices’ users. All that you need to do is to check your S5 device’s notification panel starting from today for downloading and installing the new update files.
Unfortunately the new update doesn’t come with an official changelog available, but we can assume that the new KitKat 4.4.2 XXU1ANE2 firmware update will add fixes and tweaks for the original Android 4.4.2 KitKat build that was originally implemented on the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The new Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXU1ANE2 should be rolled out in a phase, that’s means the new firmware will not be available for all users in the same time, but don’t panic the new OTA update will be sent to your device by the end of this month.
As you probably know that the Galaxy S5 device is one of the newest released devices based on Android OS, it has been released in April 2014 worldwide with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and now a new smaller update is available for downloading and installing. The new Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXU1ANE2 shouldn’t take so long to install, because of that it comes only with some bug fixes and improvements for overall User Interface and Samsung-Based apps.
The Galaxy S5 device comes with a 5.1 inches Super Amoled display that has 1080 x 1920 resolution, 2 GB of RAM, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 16 or 32 GB for internal storage with the possibility to be extended up to 128 GB by using an external microSD, 2.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, 16MP rear-facing camera, Adreno 330, 2 MP front-facing camera and a removable 2800 mAh battery.
Make sure that you’ll share with us in our comments section any major changes added by the new Android 4.4.2 XXU1ANE2 update.
