Android 4.4.2 OTA Update Is Now Available for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 from AT&T device has received the new Android 4.4.2 OTA update. The announcement comes from Samsung official their support page where we can see that the new firmware is now pushed out via OTA.

As you probably know that the new KitKat update was rolled out for several variants of Tab 3 device a few months ago, but AT&T owners have been left waiting for it until now.

The new Android 4.4.2 KitKat update comes with major changes such as transparent status and nav bars, cloud printing, white status bar icons, immersive mode, new Location menu, full screen album and movie art in the lock screen, updated Samsung applications, improved Samsung keyboard, security and performance enhancements.

As you can see that it is definitely a must have update on your AT&T Galaxy Tab 3 device. The new update comes such as an OTA update and it will be pushed out such as an automatically notification directly on the device’s notification panel in stages, which means that some of users might not be able to receive it in the same time.

Once your device will receive the new OTA update you should be able to receive a new system message in the notification bar. All that you need to do is to tap on this and to select “Download now,” and after that select “install now” once the download in totally done.

Once the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat update begins to be installed, the device will get an automatically restart and install the new firmware.

If the new system update notification failed to show up, you can make a manually verification for it from Settings> About device>Software updates>Check for updates.
