Android 4.4.3 for HTC ONE M8 Now Available in Australia

Users of HTC One M8 from Australia started to receive the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update on their devices. The Android 4.4.3 KitKat was announced for HTC One M8 several weeks ago, and users from various regions are already enjoying it.

The first Australian users of HTC One M8 to get the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update, with all its features and improvements, are those from Optus with Telstra and Vodafone to follow, a post on Ausdroid reads.

The Android 4.4.3 update for HTC One M8, comes with the security improvements included in Android 4.4.4 KitKat update, since HTC One M8 devices will not receive Android 4.4.4, but will see the Android L once it will be released.

After the update users of HTC One M8 The will notice performance optimisation updates for Bluetooth, WiFi and Radios, updates to Settings, Camera, Gallery and HTC Sync Manager applications, security and stability fixes as well as many improvements and bug fixes.

The update is rollout over-the-air, and users of HTC One M8 will receive a system notification when it will be available for their device.

These updates usually are rolled out in stages, so it might take a while before the Android 4.4.3 update will be available for your device. Additionally you can perform a manual check on its availability under Settings -> About Phone -> Check for Update.

The Android 4.4.3 update is 663.39MB in size, so make sure you connect to a stable Wi-Fi before downloading and installing it, and also check if your device’s battery is fully charged to avoid the unwanted interruptions during the process.
