Android 4.4.4 Now Rolling Out To Moto G In Australia

Owners of Motorola Moto G handsets from Australia just started to receive the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OTA update, after Moto G users in other markets already updated their devices to the mention firmware.

The Android 4.4.4 OTA update is 167 MB in size and as soon as your Moto G device is ready to receive it you will be notified by the system with an automatic message.

Once you received a notification, tap on it and choose download and when the download is completed select install for the installation process to begin.

The Android 4.4.4 iteration will add to your Moto G a redesigned dialer app and access to the Motorola Alert application.
Moreover, the new firmware update will allow you to pause recording of videos, tapping on a new button that will arrive on the camera viewfinder.

As usual, the Android 4.4.4-operating system will rollout in stages, which indicate that not all Australian Moto G users might download and install it right away.
Additionally, you can check if a new software update is available for your device under Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates.
Do not forget to charge your device’s battery completely and also be sure to use a stable Wi-Fi connection for the installation to be successful.

Motorola Australia is also listing its Moto E and Moto X as ready to receive the Android 4.4.4 KitKat upgrade, and the seeding should start soon.
