Early today Google has rolled out the new Android 4.4.4 update for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 devices. This is a surprise for all the Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 devices’ owners because of that no leaks of this new firmware update was related.
Anyway, the new Android 4.4.4 update for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 device is just a minor firmware update; it comes to improve some security vulnerability in OpenSSL.
In addition, the new update comes with tweaks for WebView and Chromium projects and some bug fixes.
Just like you can see that the new firmware update for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 device is rolled out in phases. That is means that some of the Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 devices will receive this update in the next days.
As you may know that, the new update will be pushed out as a system update message in the device’s notification area. All that you need to do is to tap on it and from there chose download and then select install now after the download is done.
All Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 devices’ users can also check for the new update by using a manually verification under Settings>About Phone>System Updates>Check Now.
The new firmware update Android 4.4.4 is labeled KTU84P and comes with a size of around 3 MB. This means that the new update is safe to be downloaded by using your mobile network without damaging your data plan.
