AT&T LG Optimus G Pro receives a new Value Pack software update

AT&T version of the LG Optimus G Pro owners, they are getting an update for their device starting with today. It isn’t about Android 4.2.2, but it is a new update pack that comes to improve the Android user experience. This new update comes with some new improvements and features. The Dual Camera will be a new feature, which allows users to use both cameras on the same time (front and back camera).

Also, the Smart Video feature will come the same as of the Samsung Galaxy S4; this new feature will put pause for a video when you have your eyes diverted from the smartphone’s display, the front camera will determinate this, and when your eyes will return on the screen the same feature resume playing the movie.

Another great feature is that you’ll be able to use your LG Optimus G Pro as a remote control device for an LG smart TV (2012 or later), the smartphone will be used as a Remote touch screen pad.

This new update comes with the capability to start recording a video or to stop it, resume later from the same point where you quit recording. New addition 800 new color emoticons has been added, and the best part is that this new Value Pack comes as a bug fixes.

As you probably think, this new update is pushed out by OTA which means you’ll be able to install the same on a very short time. First, you would receive an automatically notification as a pop up on your LG Optimus G Pro smartphone. If you didn’t receive an automatically notification with this new update you need to navigate on the following path on your device: Menu > Settings > General > About phone > Software update > Update Now and there check for the new updates existent. When you want to download this latest update the AT&T recommendation is that your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi connection to don’t affect your data plan carrier.

A new great AT&T feature which is included on this update is that you can see if an installed application was or not utilized for a while and this feature reminds you it can be uninstalled. This new characteristic is available following this path: Settings> Apps> Menu> Unused Apps. Also, with new shortcuts to the AT&T data folder, you can save your device’s battery life.

The LG Otimus G Pro smartphone is a powerful Android device which comes with 5.5 inches True Full HD IPS Plus LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. Moreover, LG Otimus G Pro comes with two cameras: one 13 MP that supports  4208 x 3120 pixels and has integrated autofocus, LED flash with face detection, image stabilization, Geo-tagging,  panorama and HDR and a second 2.1 MP, 1080p@30fps camera, perfect for making business meetings and text chattings with video support.
