The Indian smartphone maker Celkon has launched yet another affordable handset in India enlarging its series of low-end Android 4.4 KitKat powered smartphones. Priced at Rs 3,449, Celkon Campus A15K is a new budget Android smartphone and is a variant of the Celkon Campus A15 launched by the company last year.
The Celkon Campus A15K is a dual-SIM smartphone and comes with a 3.5″ HVGA IPS display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels, it is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor clocked at 1GHz, has 256MB of RAM, and comes with 512MB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Campus A15K comes equipped with a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash and has a front camera of 0.3MP. The smartphone is animated by a 1400mAh battery.
Regarding the connectivity, the Celkon Campus A15K offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth with A2DP and Micro-USB options. Unfortunately, the handset is not offering 3G connectivity support.
Celkon Campus A15K will be available in black color option and for the price of Rs. 3,499 it comes with free flip cover. The Celkon Campus A15K handset it will be available in the coming days at online retailers such as ebay, amazon, flipkart, indiatimes, shopclues, yebhi, saholic or mobilestore.
Another cheap smartphone was launched by the company in India last week, the Celkon Campus Mini A350, priced at Rs. 3,799.
