Lately, Sony has updated the Album app for Xperia handsets to the build version 6.2.A.0.22. The new Album app update is 14MB in size and can be downloaded via the update center.
The new update brings new features such as the option to select which online service you want to appear in the navigation menu and sharing online content. The new iteration adds also an improved UI as well as performance enhancements and some bug fixes.
In previous Album app version 6.1.A.0.14 when you wanted to select multiple pictures you have to tap each picture long to select it while in the new update, we can select multiple pictures by tapping just once on any image.
The feature that allow you to select which online photo sharing service such as Flickr, Facebook or Picasa, to appear in your navigation menu once you synced your Xperia device with your accounts makes pictures appear in the album in ” Flickr,” “Facebook” and “Picasa” section.
