CyanogenMod 11 Nightly (Sirius) released for Xperia Z2

For enthusiasts Android users to experience installing, corrupting and taking it all over again with alternative variants of the Google software, CyanogenMod is a famous name.
CyanogenMod is based on Android source code, being a variant of the Android OS that incorporates several changes, starting or increasing speed optimizations support standards and codecs, and completing with applications and interface innovations being available on many mobile devices.

Today Sony Xperia Z2 has official CyanogenMod 11 support based on Android 4.4.3, entitled Sirius, and is the first nightly build for the Sony Xperia Z2, available for download on the CyanogenMod website.
However because it is a nightly release and not a stable one there might be some bugs that might annoy users, specifically, the camera does not work properly and the touch screen reaction, but expected to be flatten out over time and also all deficiencies will be remedied when the stable CyanogenMod build will be ready.

You can wait and flash the ROM when a stable one is published, or you can test now CM 11 on your Xperia Z2 with the first available official CyanogenMod nightly build.

Note that you will need to have an unlocked bootloader if you want to give the custom ROM a try, but also that unlocking the bootloader and flashing ROM, you can lose your device’s warranty.
So be sure to know what you are doing before you get flashing, and we have to mention also that you should take into consideration a copy of ROM before taking action.
