Taiwan-based company HTC has started rolling out a new OTA Android Jelly Bean update for its HTC One device in Europe, this latest official firmware is the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean build number 2.24.401.8 version. This new Over-The-Air update comes with Sense 5.0 user interface and also it brings as major bug fixes for HTC One device.

The new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean 2.24.401.8 integrated support for HTC Mini+ and for Google Keyboard.

The new firmware was meant to resolve different issues, it comes also with new features such as Instagramon BlinkFfeed, back button can be used to start of Blickfeed, also the Google Now is accessible with a swipe from the home button.

Furthermore, the stability and performance optimizations have been improved; also the battery capacity is now in percent. With this new firmware release,  you can use six different ZOE Highlight Themes, themes such as Atlantis, Gotham, Boardwalk, Lilyton, Hammerville, Boulevard. Moreover, the Zoe Highlights has the manual selection (Zoes) feature.

The updated firmware release comes with a series of other device enhancements as well, features as Android Daydream, App drawer displays, Sense TV where the Channels can be changed manually, Visualisations in the music player can be selected manually, and Sequence data from Zoe app will not uploaded to Dropbox/Google anymore.

The new firmware will increase the system performance and reduce the CPU speed in idle mode, to extend the device’s battery life.
