One of the most popular Android application released by Google named Google Play Store application received today a new update, namely 4.6.16.
The new version of the application is specially provided by Google to come for its users with some new features, optimization and tweaks.
As you probably know that, this week Google pushed out different updates for its important applications for Android such as Search, Maps, Chrome, Translate and YouTube applications.
According to AndroidPolice website the new version of Google Play Store application 4.6.16 comes with the Batch install in My apps -> All tab, a new “Require password” option that will allow you to restrict and control all purchases by using Google Play application.
Moreover, the new version of the application come with the options to choose “Never” option in order to restrict all purchases or they can choose to restrict it every 30 minutes.
Another new change is that the Settings and Help have moved in the slideout navigation drawer and in additional the confusing the “Auto-add widgets” option has been renamed and now the developers of the application added icons and not widgets integrated into a much more intuitive options named “Add icon to Home screen,”
The main change that the new Play Store application comes is that the possibility to force it to do self-update, for use this option you just need to tap the Build version in the settings area, and the application will search, download and install the latest version available.
Another new change that the Google Play Store version 4.6.16 comes is the integration of IAP (In-app-purchases) feature in the App permission that is displayed when you press the Install option.
A good advantage with this new version of the application is the ability to install multiple applications in the same time by using the My apps / All tab setting and now after you’ll uninstall an application won’t positioned you on the top of the apps list.
There, you will find also some new enhancements on the UI part such as Add buttons are now blue, and the names are bold. Additionally, the Settings and Help sections in the slideout navigation drawer of the application.
Last but not least, the application comes with the Google + + 1 counts that show you the exact numbers for large quantities, as well.
