Mobile phone maker Motorola officially is getting ready to launch the new Droid line-up. In this new Droid line-up are three models, the Motorola Droid Ultra, Motorola Droid Maxx, and Motorola Droid Mini. Now all three devices are already up for pre-order at Verizon with prices ranging from $98 to $300.

As you have seen these mentioned devices, were numerous subjects of leaks over the past month, when numerous rumors reporting almost everything about them, even they were officially released by Motorola Verizon.

The main expectation from the Motorola Droid Maxx is its battery, they promising an impressive 48 h of battery life. This battery life time is a considerable improvement compared to the 32 hours of the Motorola’s previous generation. This specification for its battery is a remarkable performance in terms of  smartphone’s battery on the market.

So, Motorola has made the new Droid Maxx official with a pricing starting of $299 (Verizon – 2 years contract), and it comes with a brilliant look with and powerful technical specifications.  Its name Droid Maxx, suggests a good time life battery.

The Moto Droid Maxx is 137.5 mm (5.41inches) tall and 71, 2 mm wide (2.80 inches), and it has only a weight of 167 grams.

It will land on the market with a 5 inch HD capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, powered Qualcomm Snapdragon S4Pro chipset with a dual-with a Krait Dual Core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz helped by an Adreno 320 GPU, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

On the back, the smartphone will pack a 10 MP RGBC camera with quick capture and 1080p full HD Video Recording at 60 fps, autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, Touch focus and face detection.

The Moto Droid Maxx smartphone will also include a 2 megapixel front camera for making video calls and it can also take pictures at 1080p resolution.

Just like all the three new members of the Droid line-up, the Droid Maxx device also comes with the new eight-core Motorola X8 processor with four graphic processing cores (two dedicated to application processing, one core for contextual awareness and one for natural language)

The Motorola Droid Maxx flagship will feature: EV-DO Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps, LTE; HSDPA, 42.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot,  DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, MicroUSB 2.0, HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps, and NFC chip.

Furthermore, the Droid Maxx smartphone is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and it will brings also with some Moto-specific features like Droid Command, Quick Capture and touchless control.

The Motorola Droid Maxx now is available for pre-order at Verizon carrier with a price tag starting with $299 on a two year contract.

It is also rumored to have a 3500 mAh battery, and the first unit of Droid Maxx device will be shipped on the market on August 20th.
