Pre-requisites:
- This guide and all files listed in this article work only with AT&T LG G2 device model number D800.
- This root method will void the AT&T LG G2 smartphone’s warranty.
- During the root process a Windows based PC is necessary, in addition to it the USB cord and the AT&T LG2 smartphone must be near to you.
- This root process has been developed by an XDA member named “thecubed“. This root has been called IORoot method.
- Download and install the suitable USB drivers to the PC.
- From the following path: Settings>About the Phone tap seven times on the Build Number section, and from the displayed Developer Option menu, enable the USB Debugging option.

- First, download the root file from here and save it in your PC.
- Second, extract the downloaded root zip file to a folder on the desktop folder on the PC.
