- In CWM recovery, navigate to “flash zip from SD card” option and press the power button to select the option.
- Tap the Power button once more and now select the “choose zip from sdcard”.
- Now, use the volume keys to navigate for UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip file and select it by pressing the Power Button.
- Now, confirm the root installation process and wait for the completion of the installation process.
- Once the root installation is done, select the “+++++Go Back” and then restart the device by using the “reboot system now” option from the Recovery menu.
- Now from the Recovery menu reboot the device by selecting the “reboot system now“.
- The device will get a restart, you should wait around 5 minutes for the first boot with the root rights.
