- Download the CF-Auto-Root tool from HERE and save it in the ‘fastboot’ folder.
- Power off your Sony Xperia Z.
- Now reboot your device into Bootloader/ Fastboot mode.
- Using the USB cable, connect your smartphone to your computer.
- Navigate on the Fastboot folder and there open an CMD (command prompt window).
- Now, in the CMD window you have to enter the following command lines to push the root files on to your Sony smartphone.
- Enter the next command line for installing the DoomLord-modded CF Auto Root Tool: > fastboot flash boot kernel.img.
- Enter this line in order to reboot the Sony smartphone: fastboot reboot.
- Now the Sony XPeria Z will boot and display a notification which warning that the smartphone will restart in 10 seconds.
- When the Sony XPeria Z device restarts one, disconnect the smartphone from the computer.
- Hard power off your smartphone, this will make your smartphone to vibrate 3 times. After that boot your smartphone into Fastboot mode.
- Now, connect your smartphone to the computer with the help of the USB cord.
- Enter the next command line for installing the stock kernel image: > fastboot flash boot stock-kernel.img
- After that enter fastboot reboot and then XPeria Z smartphone will restart into normal mode.
- Now navigate to Google Play Store and here search the BusyBox Installer app and install it.
