HTC One E8 Dual SIM And HTC Desire 616 Dual SIM Launched In India

HTC unveiled in New Delhi the new HTC Desire 616 and HTC One E8 smartphones for the Indian market, both in Dual SIM version.

These new smartphones will be joining the HTC’s Android portfolio in India, which now includes devices like HTC One M8, Desire 210, Desire 310 and Desire 816.

Launched at Rs. 16,900, the HTC Desire 616 Dual SIM will be available next week, while the HTC One E8 Dual SIM priced at Rs. 34,990 will be available by the end of July.

Without a specific Android version, Desire 616 Dual SIM was announced recently as an Asia-specific smartphone. The smartphone is a mid-range device that features a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution, a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8 MP autofocus rear and a 2MP front-facing cameras, 4GB of internal storage space expandable via microSD card up to 32GB, and is powered by a 2000mAh battery.

In terms of wireless connectivity options, HTC Desire 616 Dual SIM includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS and 3G.

Based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, the HTC One E8 Dual SIM features a 5-inch SLCD 3 full HD display 1080×1920-pixel resolution( 441ppi density), is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801processor, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.

The handset comes with a 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The HTC One E8 comes with 16GB of internal storage space, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Regarding connectivity options, the One E8 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 3G, 4G LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

This smartphone is powered by a 2600mAh non-removable battery, weighs 145 grams and measures 146.4×70.7×9.9mm.
