The Taiwan-based phone maker has officially revealed the HTC One Mini Specs and the price for this device. The HTC One Mini device will be one of the most attractive mid-range devices on the market at this moment, and if we’re looking at its technical specifications comparing with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini which is still pricey despite the fact that it has weaker specs. Besides the HD display which it holds, One Mini device comes with impressive technical specifications comparing with other smartphones from the same range, having an identical design with its big brother HTC One flagship.
Moreover, the new HTC One Mini will be an excellent alternative for those who don’t want to pay too much for a high-end phone.
The HTC One Mini comes with a 4.3 Super LCD 2 display (720 * 1280) enhanced with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is also powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset based on a 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait 300 CPU and an Adreno 305 Graphics processing unit (GPU). It will run the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Sense 5 UI, which is a HTC company’s proprietary UI.
The new HTC One Mini device comes with 1 GB of RAM and for its internal memory has 16 GB, without MicroSD card slot. On the camera side, the HTC One Mini comes with a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera, the same from the HTC One device, but without OIS. Furthermore, its camera has LED flash, full HD video recording at 30 fps, HDR and Autofocus.
The HTC One Mini device has, for its connectivity, all the modern features that a high-end smartphone brings, features such as WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and aptX, LTE, MicroUSB 2.0.
The device is measuring 132*63*9,3 mm and it weighs 122 grams including its 1,800 mAh Battery.
Comparing with the Samsung Galaxy Mini devices, its Galaxy S3 Mini has a resolution of 480*800 pixels, and S4 Mini didn’t have a HD resolution. I think that the HTC has chosen the perfect recipe for a powerful and attractive mid-range smartphone.
Regarding its design, the HTC One Mini keep the same look as HTC One, but with 50 mm shorter for its case and narrower than the HTC One flagship.
The new mid-range device form HTC is just as thin as HTC One, with 20 grams lighter than its bigger brother.
Also, in terms of features HTC One Mini keeps the front-facing speakers and aluminum for its case.
For the bezel around the body of HTC One Mini case has a glossy look and its Volume buttons are now two compact Volume UP/Down buttons.
HTC company announced that the new mid-range HTC One Mini release date has been set up to start in August and the globally debut will be in September. For the HTC One Mini, the price tag will be around of €450 (about $590).
