How To Install Android 6.0.1 September 2016 Marshmallow for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

  • In the first step, download the Android 6.0.1 from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/97566/G928FXXS3BPIB_G928FNEE3BPI1_NEE/
  • Now extract and save the file on your PC desktop. But you should avoid using tar.md5 content.
  • Download Odin 3.10.7 file from http://droidhost.org/H71jkq and unzip it. After that switch off the phone and boot the phone in the download phone.
  • Launch the Odin app and connect it to computer through USB cable.
  • Go to Odin’s ‘Re-partition’ option and click the AP button. Now load the Android 6.0.1 G928FXXS3BPIB tar.md5 firmware update.
  • Confirm the start of the installation process and when it is done, Odin shows PASS alert. Remove the phone from computer.
