Pre-requisites:
- The Motorola Razr HD device must have an unlocked boot-loader (In case the Moto Razr HD doesn’t have an unlocked bootloader, you will not be able to finish the update process).

- During the installation process a PC is being required, the Moto device and a USB cable.
- On the PC, a suitable USB drivers must be flashed and all of the security software must be uninstalled or deactivated (at least temporarily).

- The Moto device must have more than 65 % power left in its battery so that the installation process goes uninterrupted. On the Motorola Razr HD device go to the menu >settings > developer options and from there enable the USB debugging option.

How To Install The Official Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Firmware On Motorola RAZR HD XT925 Device.
- Download the necessary update file on your PC from here, then download the Philz Touch recovery (click here and get the special 4.4 recovery file, click here.
- Connect the device with your PC, and copy the update file to the root path of your smartphone’s SD card.
- Flash the ADB and Fastboot tools on the PC, copy the Philz touch recovery file on the same location as Fastboot.
- Open the Fastboot folder, and then open a CMD window (Command Prompt Window).
- To do this press and hold the shift key from your keyboard while you right click on a blank space within the Fastboot folder.
- Shut down the Moto Razr HD device and then reboot the device into bootloader mode.
- Now, connect the device to your PC by using the USB cord.
- In the CMD window, type the “fastboot flash recovery philz_touch_6.43.8-moto_msm8960.img”,press enter.
- Next reboot the Moto device into recovery mode (how to enter into recovery mode) and just install the modified file which you’ve copied on the root of the device’s SD card.
- Copy the special recovery file in the same folder as that of Fastboot.
- Now, from the recovery mode, navigate to bootloader mode once again.
- On the CMD window type “fastboot flash recovery xt926-KK-CWM 6048.img”.
Just reboot your device and then enjoy Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System.
