Three new models from LG will enter in the G Pad range announced a month ago by the South Korean company: G Pad 7.0 the LG’s smallest tablet, G Pad 8.0, and G Pad 10.1
Beginning with the LG G Pad 7.0 launching in Europe this week, the G Pad 8.0 and 10.1 will be ready for purchase in the next several weeks.
The three new LG G Pad devices will fit between entry and premium tablets and will offer a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB RAM and 1280 x 800 IPS HD display, housed in Black, White,Luminous Orange, Luminous Blue and Red colors. The three tablets will come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board including the KnockCode security feature that gives users the option to unlock their G Pad in one single step with a pattern of taps.
The G Pad will also recognize up to four sets of knock patterns so the same tablet can be used by family members and keep their stuff private.
Plus the tablets will be customized with LG’s graphical user interface and will include QPair 2.0 that provides perfect convergence between Android-based tablets and smartphones via Bluetooth connection.
Smart Keyboard the LG G3’s feature and Dual Window(split the screen and run two applications simultaneously) will be also included in the new tablets.
The tablets are designed with rounded edges, and can be held comfortably with one hand.
LG’s smallest tablet, will have a 7.0-inch IPS (1280 x 800, WXGA graphics resolution)
display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core chipset, 1 GB RAM, 8GB eMM(embedded Multi-Media Controller) and microSD slot for extended memory, 1.3MP front camera and 3MP. The device will be dynamized by a 4000mAh battery and will measures 189.3 x 113.8 x 10.1mm and weighs 293g.
The G Pad 8.0 sports a 8.0-inch IPS (1280 x 800, WXGA resolution) display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core chipset, 1GB RAM, 16GB eMMC and microSD slot, a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera. The G Pad 8.0 is powered by a 4200mAh battery, measures 210.8 x 124.2 x 9.9mm and weighs 342g.
The largest of the three tablets, G Pad 10.1 features a 10.1-inch IPS(1280 x 800, WXGA) display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core chipset, 1 GB RAM, 16GM eMMC, microSD slot, 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera. The G PAd 10.1 is kept alive by a 8000mAh battery, measures 260.9 x 165.9 x 8.9mm and weighs 523g.
The details regarding prices will be announced locally, in the same time of the LG G Pad tablets’ release.
