Mi 3 from Xiaomi go on sale starting July 15 in India for Rs. 14,999

The Chinese company, Xiaomi, has just unveiled the Mi 3 in the Indian market, and the smartphone is set to go on sale starting July 15 priced at Rs. 14,999.
BGR India had officially announced that Xiaomi will sell its handsets and accessories via Flipkart.

The Mi3 is Xiaomi’s flagship device and features a 5-inch 1080p IPS display, a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8274AB) processor and includes a quad-core Krait 400 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi3 features dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC and comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, both cameras capable of shooting 1080p videos.

The device has a massive 3,050mAh battery that can deliver up to 21 hours talk time on 3G networks.
The Mi 3 comes with MIUI skin on top and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, with an imminent update to Android 4.4 KitKat. It is made of aluminium-magnesium alloy, weighs 145gram and is 8.1mm thick.
At Rs. 14,999 there is no other device that offers the same specs that the Mi3 highlights.

The Mi3 smartphone will come with Xiaomi’s Mi Cloud service for users to save and access their photos, contacts, messages, notes or call logs online. The users will also be capable of backup apps in the cloud or locate the smartphone online in case it is lost.
In addition to the launch of Mi 3, Xiaomi is launching its Mi powerbank, which is available in 5,200 mAh and 10,400 mAh variants on its website.
