Nokia launches Nokia X Android Smartphone in India on 10 March

Nokia, the Finnish handset firm, is reportedly launching next week in India, the newly revealed the company’s primary Android based smartphone, Nokia X.

The Nokia’s Indian arm has sent out invites for elite media organizations to attend the launch celebrations in Mumbai and Delhi on 10 March. The presentation will be presided by P Balaji, vice-president & MD, Nokia India, published NDTV Gadgets.

“Nokia India cordially invites you to Xperience a new beginning!” the company invite said. The term ‘Xperience’, indirectly accentuating so that the event is correlated to Nokia X.

A few days ago, Nokia launched Nokia X in Malaysia for 399 Ringgit (about 7500 rupee of Indian denomination).

With the official launching event on Monday (10 March), people are looking forward to getting a fairer idea of the Nokia X’s official pricing together with availability aspects including brick-and-mortar stores and online stores of India.

Nokia X was revealed in the freshly MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014 in Barcelona. It has a 4.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) IPS LCD with 233 pixels per inch density and goes with Android Open Source Project AOSP operating system version, and it is titled as Nokia X Software v1.0.

Within, It carries a 1GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 3.0-megapixel principal camera (without flash) on the back side and a 1500 mAh battery that can energy the phone for about 17 days under standby mode.

Indian e-shop, Saholic has by now started pre-booking skylight for buyers to order the Nokia X for 8,499 Indian rupee, with a guarantee of delivering the phone by 28 March.
