Root and Install CWM Recovery on Android 4.2.2 for Galaxy S2 Plus I9105

Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus I9105 device has received recently the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.  The new release is named version XXUBMH4 and has been released for users in Russia. The new firmware has been released by OTA, but it can be also installed by using the Samsung Kies app.

The new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S2 Plus I9105 device has PDA: I9105XXUBMH4, CSC: I9105OXEBMH3, MODEM: I9105XXUBMH2, and was built in mid-2013 for Russia Region first.

First, download and install the suitable USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus.

From Menu>Settings>Applications click on Development option and Enable the USB Debugging Mode on smartphone.

How to install the CWM Recovery custom image on Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105 device.

First, Download CWM recovery file (Jerry_recovery.tar.md5) from the link or from here.

Second, download the Odin v3.07zip file and extract it to obtain Odin3 v3.07.exefile and some other files.

Now, turn off the Galaxy S2 device totally (wait around 5 seconds for the vibration).

Note: If the md5 file hash value failed error occurs when you want to flash the CWM file, then you need to remove the extension md5 from the file and install it again.

Important: Make sure that in ODIN,  the Re-Partition and F.Reset Time checkboxes not are selected and uncheck the Auto-Reboot option.
