  1. Download the root file CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip from the link and save it in your computer.
  2. Now extract the downloaded archive zip file and you will obtain a .tar.md5 file.
  3. Download the ODIN 3.0.7 , extract it, and you’ll get Odin3 v3.07.exe file and a few other files near of it.
  4. Power off the Galaxy Note 2 device. Now wait 4 seconds to be sure your device is totally off.
  5. Boot the Note 2 smartphone into Download Mode, for doing that press and keep holding the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons simultaneous. A warning notification will be displayed and now press the Volume Up buttons for entering into the Download Mode.
  6. Open the Odin3 v3.07.exe file such Administrator.
  7. Connect your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 device to the PC using its USB cord. If not, you need to change the USB port or to reinstall the suitable USB drivers once again.
  8. After the ODIN app say “Added!!” and the COM port with a number area was colored in yellow or blue that means the device was successfully added, and you can move to the next step.
  9. From ODIN app click the PDA button and browse and load the CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5 file that you already extracted before.
  10. Important: Make sure in the ODIN interface Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are selected.
  11. When you are ready to begin the root process click the START button from the ODIN app. Now the rooting process has been started, and you have to with to complete it.
  12. When the rooting process is done, your smartphone will get an automatically reboot and the ODIN will say “PASS” message.
  13. Disconnect your device from the PC by removing the USB cord.
