How To Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 T330 by using Chainfire’s CF Auto Root Tool

How to root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 T330 device by using CF Auto Root tool:

This step by step guide should work for any Android 4.4 KK version.

  1. First, download the CF Auto Root zip file from the next link and save it in your computer.
  2. Extract the files on your PC, copy them on the desktop. You should get a .tar file with CF-Auto Root name.
  3. Now, download the ODIN 3 v3.09 app from here and extract it on your PC.
  4. Now, enable the USB Debugging mode from the Developer Options menu.
  5. Power off the device.
  6. Boot it into Download Mode (Press and keep holding the Volume Down, Home and Power buttons simultaneously, the press Volume Up button when the “Download Mode warning” is displayed.
  7. Open the ODIN exe file on your Computer.
  8. Now, connect the device with your PC via USB Data Cable.
  9. Next wait for ODIN to detect the device.
  10. Note that if the device isn’t recognized,  you should reinstall the Samsung USB Drivers.
  11. Now, return to ODIN window UI, from there click on the “AP” button tab.
  12. Load the CF-Auto-Root.tar file.
  13. Be sure that the the ‘Re-Partition’ option is disabled.
  14. Do not make any other changes on the ODIN Settings interface.
  15. When you want to start the rooting process you simply have to press the Start button from ODIN.
  16. Now, do not press any other button until the files are fully installed.
  17. When the root is totally done the rooting tablet will reboot and the ODIN will display the “PASS” message.
  18. Now, be sure that the root has been applied. You can check using the Root Checker application from Google Play Store.
