Samsung Galaxy S5 to Come with Carbon Fiber Body, Super AMOLED Plus Display and 5G Features

There are many rumors regarding the future of Samsung Galaxy S5, but today we will present you several new specifications which we heard that S5 will come with them.

Recent rumors reported the Samsung Galaxy S5 could come with a carbon fiber body, and additionally it will be featured with a Super AMOLED display and a 5G speeds capability.

Firstly, it is said that the next Samsung Galaxy S5 will be featured with an Aluminum body, but recently other rumors suggest that  its body will be made out of a new mixed metal, which is based on carbon fiber.

The new partnership between Samsung and SGL brings a change regarding the material used to obtain certain parts of these devices, so they are starting to use the carbon fiber material and its alloy in some Samsung devices, and here we can highlight consumer electronics, engineering test products and applications.

The main idea of Samsung brand is that lightweight materials have become very important to those who buy electronic products and this will lead to the replacement of plastic components, especially the cases of Samsung smartphones and tablets containing fiber material carbon, or why not other composite material with excellent properties.

For example, carbon fiber can make smartphone more resistant to scratches and falls, and so, this device can be used in a more dangerous environments.

Under its cover, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is likely to come with 5G technology and we say that because Samsung is already testing this technology, although this 5G technology is scheduled to be implemented until 2020, and some rumors say the Galaxy S5 might feature it. Maybe it is to early to talk about 5G for S5, because  no carrier will support it so early, but is more probably for S5 to come with a 4G LTE-A feature.

Another great improvement, which it is possible to be for Samsung Galaxy S5 is the Super AMOLED Plus display. This display is considered to be higher than the existent panels used for Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4.

Regarding the CPU side, it is expected an improved CPU that is able to compete with the Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm, which means it will have minimum a dual-quad-core and most probably will be an Octa  core.

In this moment, the flexible display should wait because the current technology needs more testing and this kind of non matured yet products can be a risk for Samsung, if they will put a flexible display for S5 device.

Flexible displays will most likely stay out of this for the moment, as the technology is probably not matured yet and Samsung can risk using an unfinished product, although a curved display would be a real surprise presentation MWC in February.

About the release date of Galaxy S5, we think it should be around May next year, 2014.

For the moment, these is all we can guess regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 and when we will find more information about it, we will keep you close.
