The Mini version of Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship is already available in several markets, and soon will come in India exclusively via Flipkart.
The e-commerce provider has teased the exclusive availability of the Galaxy S5 Mini Duos in India via its Facebook account.
First announced in early-July, Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini was listed on Samsung India’s official website earlier this month but without details on availability or price.
The Galaxy S5 Mini in India features dual-SIM card slots and will be available in Shimmery White, Charcoal Black, Electric Blue and Copper Gold colour options.
Coming with a similar design as Galaxy S5, the S5 Mini Duos includes similar features such as Ultra Power Saving Mode, heart rate sensor, fingerprint scanner, private mode/ kids mode, connectivity support for the Samsung wearable devices and also IP67 certification for dust and water.
The mini smartphone comes with 4.5″ Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.
The device is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2.1MP front-facing camera and offers 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
In terms of connectivity Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini offers dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth 4.0, IR Remote, Wi-Fi options and is animated by a 2,100mAh battery.
Similarly to the S5, the Galaxy S5 Mini runs Android version 4.4.2 Kitkat and Samsung’s TouchWiz software.
