The Mini version of Galaxy S5 recently announced by Samsung is now up for pre-orders in several markets, and one of them is UK. So if you are interested in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini in UK you should know that starting from August 7 the device is ready to be shipped to those willing it.
The Galaxy S5 Mini is available for pre-order in black, white, gold and blue color options through Samsung UK as well as through Phones4u for £389,95.
As its name suggests the Mini version has the same design as its bigger flagship model, the Samsung Galaxy S5, but obviously talking about a mini version do not expect the same performance.
However, we are dealing with a mid-range smartphone so the device has all the necessary components for a good experience.
Galaxy S5 Mini features a 4.5″ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels it is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 3470 processor and has 1.5GB of RAM.
In terms of storage, the handset comes with 16GB of internal memory and support for microSD card for up to 64GB expandable storage. The Galaxy S5 Mini also includes an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2.1MP front-facing camera and is animated by a 2100mAh battery.
Another similarity with his bigger brother outside the design is the fact that it features IP67 water and dust-resistant capabilities, fingerprint sensor, and heart-rate monitor.
Galaxy S5 Mini version runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box along with Samsung’s UI.
