The luxury phone maker Vertu has announced its new creation, a top specifications smartphone and whose price is as you guessed, not cheap at all. Let’s see together the new Vertu Signature Touch device specifications.
Vertu Signature Touch made of titanium and exotic leather offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The device’s display is a 4.7 inch, offers 1080p resolution and is covered with sapphire crystal.
The main camera of the Vertu Signature Touch is a 13 MP one with autofocus and twin LED flash, tuned by the photography powerhouse Hasselblad. We should note that in the world of photography there are limited cameras that have encroached upon the quality of Hasselblad. The front facing camera is a 2,1 MP Skype compliant unit.
Not only Hasselblad put their signature on this luxury phone, because the audio is the responsibility of the Bang & Olufsen, probably one of the first two choices when it comes to sound quality. Of course, the phone comes with an ultra-premium over-ear headset and wireless speaker.
The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable 2,275 mAh Li-ion battery that promises up to 15 hours and 30 minutes of talk time on 3G and up to 380 hours of standby time, supports Qi wireless charging and the connectivity options include LTE in addition to the standard high-end smartphone fare.
The Vertu Signature Touch will operate Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and as we expected Vertu’s Dedicated Concierge service will also be on board. The device weighs 192 g and measures 145 mm length, 69 mm width and 10,65 mm depth.
Price of the phone, for those interested, is £6,750, approximately $ 11,300.
Other interesting things would be that every single Vertu Signature Touch handset is custom handmade, Vertu Life app offers access to private members’ clubs and sporting events and owners will get a 24-hour Concierge available via chat, voice and email.
