How to Update to Android 7 Nougat Samsung Galaxy A3 A310M 2016 from Latin America

The Samsung Galaxy A3 device sold in Latin America is now receiving the official Android 7.0 Nougat update via OTA. The OTA update is being rolled out in stages, and not all users are getting it in the same time.   1. On your computer, download from here the Android 7.0 A310MUBU2CQE6 archive and when the download is over, unzip the contents. You will get the A310MUBU2CQE6 tar.md5 file.
  2. Download from here Odin 3.12.3 zip, unzip the files and save them on your computer.
  3. Switch off the Samsung Galaxy A3 device and then boot it in Download Mode.
  4. Open Odin exe on your computer and connect the device to the computer using the USB cable.Wait until ODIN notices the Samsung Galaxy A3 device and if the device is not added, reinstall the Samsung USB drivers.
  5. Enter in the Odin main menu and click the AP button.
  6. Look for the A310MUBU2CQE6 and load it in ODIN.
  7. Press START and the Android 7.0 Nougat update will begin. Don’t press any other buttons until the update is complete.
  8. Once the update process is complete, you will see the PASS alert, and ODIN will reboot your smartphone.
  9. Now, disconnect the Galaxy A3 device from the computer and wait for the first boot to complete automatically.
