Verizon Sony Xperia Z2 tablet now available Starting at $499

Verizon, one of the leading providers offering a broad range of devices, now offers its customers the Xperia Z2 Tablet, that was introduced by Sony at Mobile World Congress this year in February.

Verizon gives its customers several options to purchase the Xperia Z2 Tablet. Those that wants the tablet without a contract agreement they can have it for $599.99, for $29.99/ month with $0 down through Verizon’s Edge program or for $499.99 with a 2-year contract and $100 off the price if they choose this later option.

The new Xperia Z2 Tablet can be purchased already online and from Verizon stores.

The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet supports Verizon’s 4G LTE network, runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and the model offered by Verizon carrier is the 32GB black one.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet boasts a 10.1″ TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and 224-ppi pixel density, an 8.1 MP rear camera with 8 x digital zoom mode and full HD video recording support, and a 2.2 MP front-facing camera (1080p).

In terms of system features, the tablet is powered by 2.3 GHz Qualcomm (MSM8974AB) Quad-core Adreno 330 processor, has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card for up to 128GB and is dynamized by a 6,000mAh battery that offers up to 10 hours of continuous multimedia use, 100 hours playing music and also higher on standby.

In terms of connectivity and communication the Xperia Z2 Tablet features Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, MHL 3.0 support, NFC, USB High speed 2.0 and Micro USB support, Synchronisation via Exchange ActiveSync, Google Sync and Facebook and more.

The tablet weighs 439 grams and measures 172 x 266 x 6.4 mm.
