Verizon’s HTC One M8 receives Android 4.4.3 OTA update on September 10

Verizon will start to push out the Android 4.4.3 OTA update to its HTC One M8 variant beginning tomorrow, September 10, Mo Versi, the HTC executive confirmed in a tweet.

Although the HTC executive did not provided many information about the Verizon HTC One M8’s update to Android 4.4.3 has received approval and will include all of the security fixes found in Android 4.4.4 KitKat as well as Extreme Power Saving mode, which will stop unnecessary functions and optimize other features to extend out your device’s battery life when you need it.

Plus, the owners of the HTC One M8 from Verizon will get the standard security enhancements along with plenty of bug fixes and overall performance improvements.

Once the Android 4.4.3 update begins rolling on tomorrow, you should soon receive an automatic system message in the notification panel informing you about a new update available for your device. In order to download and install the Android 4.4.3 update you just need to tap on the notification and confirm the download, and then the system will do the rest.

Additionally, you can check for the update manually under Settings -> Phone Update -> Check for Update.

Remember to check if your HTC One M8’s battery is charged and also to use a stable Wi-Fi connection, in order to avoid undesired interruption during the update process.
