Waze For Android v3.8 With New Design For Sending Location, Find Friends On Waze By Adding Contacts And More

Waze, the application that made the maps and navigation a little ‘social, is one of the most famous applications for Android as is evidenced by the number of installations, between 10 and 50 million.
After the acquisition by Google, and the subsequent integration within Google Maps, Waze, however, seems to not have been abandoned by Google, as recently released an update to version 3.8.0.0, which brings in addition to the usual bugs fixed, many new features.

As Waze is a social app, the 3.8.0.0 version mainly revolve interactions with other people. Users can now find and request new friends, and that can be pulled directly from social media or existing contact lists.
Moreover, Waze has renewed the design for sharing your location with your contacts, at just one click of a button – whether that is your current location, your work address or your holiday destination, and now a friend’s location can be saved for future navigation.
The new iteration also makes it simpler to keep the record of who has your position information.
One of the other more useful new features is the possibility to keep Waze in focus when answering calls.

Waze v 3.8 app requires Android version 2.2 or newer and can be downloaded from Google Play Store right now.
