Xiaomi MIUI 6 Officially Released, New Android UI iOS 7 Resemblance

Xiaomi has just revealed a new version for its MIUI software bringing new features and improvements to its customized Android OS. MIUI 6 offers plenty of new features especially with respect to the many graphics with transparency and play of colors in animations and updates to the important apps as well as several tweaks to the OS.

MIUI 6 comes with a new lock screen, new notifications, improved handling of multitasking and much more. The new version offers its users the improvements on the notifications in the lock screen, where an icon below show the unread notifications and with a simple swipe to the other you will be able to manage them, open them or delete them directly from the lock screen without unlocking the phone.

Thanks to the new gesture support, the MIUI home launcher now will be prepared for devices with larger display sizes.

MIUI 6 also introduces the option to access free Wi-Fi with WiWide, mark unknown numbers, and use a menu for voice service calls.

Moreover, Xiaomi apps and MIUI 6 are now integrated with the Mi Cloud service letting users access their photos, contacts, messages or call logs from anywhere.

Initially, the update will be available for Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi4 devices in beta version, subsequently to be available for Mi2, Mi2S and Mi2A devices and later for other devices by the end of the year. Certainly, Xiaomi will update its newest devices to MIUI 6 in the near future.
