Getting a new custom ROM for the existing device is like getting extra benefits without paying anything. The smartphone is perfectly compatible with this Android version. This custom ROM was developed by xda-developers and comes with a suitable ROM for the Nexus S devices.

As you probably know a custom ROM isn’t an official release ROM by Samsung, and we know in the future Samsung and Google won’t release an official update for Nexus S (beside Android 4.1 version), so if you want to install the latest version of the Android operating system, you need to install a custom ROM.

The Xylon firmware brings with it a powerful platform integrated like CM10 and AOKP. The new ROM makes your device strong and great performer with the Android 4.2.2 JB operating system.

Remain careful as the flashing process with a custom ROM is complex and is always a risky one. This means it can have some negative impact on your device like destroying your data or breaking your device. Try this only if you are an Android expert.
