SK Telecom has released a new update for their Galaxy A8 users, but you can also get it through manual update through Odin application. This is a great tool for all those who are looking to manually upgrade their phone. To do that you will require USB drivers that helps you detect your phone to PC. - To enable USB debugging option, search the Developer options, go to Settings> About Phone and tap seven times on the Build Number and come back to Settings in your phone, look for Developer option and enable it.

- Now it’s time to launch Odin app. Connect the phone with PC through USB cable and wait for Odin to detect it and once it is detected, click the AP button. Now it’s the time to load the A800SKSU1BPG2 tar.md5 update file in Odin.
- Press START on Odin.
- The application will show you PASS alert when it is done. This is a confirmation alert. The phone will automatically restart. You should use your default login info in order to gain control of your phone.
In case Odin shows PASS alert, but phone goes into boot loop, you will need to carry out the whole process again without skipping any step.
