Update Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE I9305 to Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXBME3 firmware

OTA new official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update named XXBME3 has been rolled out for  Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE GT-I9305 devices.

This new update is based on the Android 4.1.2 and has been pushed out in some countries as France and Poland.

The new release has been rolled out by OTA and users can download and install the official update using Samsung KIES tool or via OTA automatic notification. If  you have not  received this automatic notification, you can verify the software from Settings>> About phone>> Software Update in your S3 LTE device.

As you know not all of the S3 LTE users receive this latest update, and if they don’t want to wait until this firmware is available, they can learn how to manually update the new XXBME3 firmware.

The new Android 4.1.2 XXBME3 Jelly Bean firmware is unbranded and not mobile carrier-branded, it can be flashed on any unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S3 I9305 devices.

Pre-requisites:

The new Android 4.1.2 XXBME3 Jelly Bean update works only on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9305 devices, so knowing that do not use the same for any other incorrect device, you can easily brick it.

To be sure of the device model verify it by navigating to the next path:Settings>> About phone>> Model number.

 How to Flash Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on Galaxy S3 GT-I9305 LTE device.

Important: In ODIN app, verify Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are selected. Uncheck the Re-Partition option (* select this option only when a .pit file is being used and selected from above).

Now the flashing process should start, and you need to wait until the installation process is completed.

 When the flashing process is complete, the S3 LTE device will get an automatic reboot and the ODIN app will display an PASS message with a green background in its interface in the extreme left at very top area.

Now, disconnect the device from PC by removing the USB cable.

Congratulation, now the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE have been updated with the latest official XXBME3 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware.

Verify the version of new firmware from: Settings>> About phone>> Android & Baseband Version

Troubleshooting:

If the Samsung Galaxy S3 device gets stuck,  Boot it in recovery mode once again (press and keep holding the Home, Power and Volume UP buttons simultaneous).

 Note: When a wipe task is performed all the data from the smartphone’s internal memory will be erased.
