The well-known developer LlabTooFeR announced that the HTC One is to get the new OTA update 4.19.401.11, based on Android 4.4.2. LlabTooFeR defines the new update as “final 4.4.2 update”, a definition that was later clarified by the developer that sums up the situation of updates to HTC One. It is not, of course, the last update for the HTC One, which will be updated without any problems both in Sense 6.0 and, possibly, the future major release of Android, as the HTC One final update to Android 4.4.2, the final in the sense that occurs after the previous two updates that have been deleted by HTC to problems for some bugs found in the distribution phase.
Summarizing, after the two updates 4.19.401.8 and 4.19.401.9, has started the distribution of the third update 4.19.401.11. It does not change much of the substance that remains divided on Android KitKat 4.4.2 with Sense 5.5. The update is intended, therefore, to those who had failed to perform the update as soon as previously described. LlabTooFeR confirms that the update is being distributed in the European area, as usual; it may take a little time before the update reaches all models marketed.
