CyanogenMod 10.1.0 Stable Builds

Good news from CyanogenMod team which today has been finished the CM 10.1.0 final builds version. This latest stable version is there for over 50 devices which are supported. There isn’t a final list with all supported devices, but probably today or tomorrow we will receive the final list with all supported devices. This is the first stable version of new CM 10.1.0, and in the future you won’t see other developed version of this firmware, but some features that the CyanogenMod team has been integrated on this stable version will need to be updated (M-release and Nightlies).

On the supported devices list which comes with CM 10.1.0 stable version we will find all the Samsung Galaxy S3 variant (without the International I9300 model), that models can be updated with the latest CM 10.1.0 Stable builds version. This version comes to support in additional Galaxy Note 1 and Note 2 and some Tegra 2 based Android devices. On the next period, the CM team will add other devices starting with July.

On the Samsung supported devices list we find devices as Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi and GSM models, T-Mobile Galaxy S2, Galaxy S, Captivate, Galaxy S2 SkyRocket, Galaxy S2 I9100G, Galaxy S B model, different Galaxy S3 variants such as Verizon/ US Cellular/ Sprint/ T-Mobile / MetroPCS/ Cricket/ AT&T versions, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 WiFi and GSM models, Vibrant, AT&T Galaxy Note 1, T-Mobile Galaxy Note 1, Epic 4G.

For Sony smartphones,  CM team included Xperia ZL, Z, T, V Xperia Tablet Z.

For Google Android based devices,  the CM team also included: Nexus 7 GSM, Nexus 10, Nexus Q, Sprint and Verizon Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 GSM, Nexus 7 WiFi, Galaxy Nexus GSM International.

For HTC smartphones,  the CM team included HTC One X but there isn’t an official word about 2013 HTC One, and there we can find only Nightly and some experimental versions of CM 10.1 for GSM version of HTC One device.

As I mentioned before, this is a stable version for CM 10.1.0 the CyanogenMod team will continue to add other builds variants like M Snapshots and Nightlies firmware.

The CM 10.1.0 Nightly firmware will come with latest CM Privacy Guard (only with Nightlies) and formerly Incognito Mode features, and also will add new applications for a better protection.

If you want to run the application in Incognito Mode, then you should use Privacy Guard function that is available from the App Info screen after you have enabled the Privacy Guard mode you’ll block all the applications or other connections to access the GPS feature of your Android device, which will hide your location because your location won’t be determinate. You need to know there are some issues, and bugs as this application doesn’t able to see your contacts, calendar, text messaging and your browser history from your web browser that you’re using.

As you can see the CyanogenMode firmware continues to improve its capability, and it is considerate to be a great alternative for the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware. With this CM 10.1.0 version,  you can have directly on your Android device Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX feature, Sony Xperia User Interface or HTC’s Sense User Interface.
